Cool Tools Activity Set by Kidoozie Review
Great Gifts… Learn Motor Skills!
Kidoozie Cool Tools Activity Sets make great gifts for any young boys and girls that you might want to encourage to learn to use tools, recognize different shapes, and build their motor skills. It all even comes in its own case, and this helps keep the parts from getting lost and also develop those important organizing skills early.
The entire set comes packed in its own case, and this case opens up to become a work station. That makes this a good toy to travel with or take to grandma’s house for a sleepover. The case is about the same size as a lunchbox, and the kit is suggested for children who are at least 18 months old.
Inside the case, find a toy power drill that actually makes power drill sounds to help engage a child. Children can also “fix” things with the plastic hammer, screwdriver, and monkey wrench. In the bottom of the case, the child can actually find safe “nails” and “screws” to use their tools on. There is also an area for shape sorting.
Engaging and also educational
This toy is engaging and also educational. Once the child gets old enough for real tools, nobody will have to tell him the basics of what a nail or screwdriver are used for. He or she will already have plenty of experience using the toys in the case. Also, there are plenty of different noises and activities include to keep a child engaged for quite awhile.
While he or she is playing, there is no chance that the child will realize that the toys is also educational. But it is!
A Word of Caution
There is one user warning about this toy. The screws may come all the way out of older versions of this set. According to customers, this problem has been fixed on the latest versions. The toy screw and nails are about three inches long, but they are very thin.
It is possible that some small children could stick them in their mouths and even try to swallow them. If you are giving this toy to a young toddler or have another child around, you might want to take these parts out.
There are still plenty of other things to play with, and you can always put them aside to return them later when the child is at least three. If you bought a recent version, this should not be a problem, but you might want to check it to be sure.
This Activity Set Is Engaging For Young Kids
Other than that caution about the older sets, parents and grandparents have purchased this toy and been very happy with how long it kept pretty young kids engaged. Since it all comes in a case, it is easy to put away and keep all of the parts together too. This is an important concern for busy parents who are trying to maintain order and teach kids how to take care of their tools!
